Making a building
I tried making my own building, with copy and paste. And it turned out that I need a little help
Well, first there is a shadow, which i didn't make? And then the shadow is ahed of the animation and the whole animation isn't shown!
See pic:
Now, how can I fix this? And what size must the picture be if I want to make a 1x1 building, this is a 2x2 altough I haven't used all space .
Any help would be great![/img]

For the shadow have you got the same amount of frames in the animation and in the shadow, as they go frame by frame.
Also i have a set of ground sizes and building sizes. But since there isnt any attatments on here, i will try and get it up on my site.
Or provide a link
Here it is, cnc2.cncguild.net/files/smallgrids.zip

My problem is that I haven't made any shadows ! I only made the buildup without shadows
So why is there shadows, and why isn't all of my frames showing? Instead of showing the solid structers all frams it just shows the shadows which I haven't made !! :dead:
Hunt7s the link didn't work

Did you see the greenish color on the picture(s)? That shows where to draw the shadow. Change the green stuff to resemble the new building's shadow.

Yup, I didn't make any for my building, I only made the solid structire without shadow.. It seems the game has generated its own shadow?? So, do I need to make a shadow in my .shp file?
I have 20 images in it, and all of them are of the solid object.. THen I have one with 3 images, where it is standing, and two images where it is "hurt"..
So, Is it a must to have shadows? And do I need to make 20 images with shadows!??
thanks so much for all the help!

ask arg, and he'll make one, but for now, ask in here for a bit more specific item and we will tell you how to do it.
an that shadow, if you are not including a shadow you should use blank frames afterwards, other wise it soetimes uses the frames as shadows, and thats the end result, it looks to me what is happening there

no, if you have 3 frames in your anim, you need 3 blanks on the end, or if you had 20, then you need 20
they should all be the same size, and in the same pallete as the rest of the SHP frames, IE unittemp with a blue background as thats colour 0 in that pallete
