Default I need help on converting .pcx back to .shp

Well the title explains it all. I know almost everyone here knows how to do this so if you can take time to help then good.

Open XCC Mixer, right-click on the file you want to convert, and click convert to SHP (TS). By the way, anyone, why is there a shp(ts) and a shp?

See thats the thing I have done that but it isnt copying it as a shp.

i guess that the (ts) stands for tiberium sun..(i.e graphics based on that engine..firestorm , RA2) while SHP is for the older games like RA1

I'll bet it is and you'll find the file in your root directory. You do know there's a middle pane in XCC mixer, right?

Or else you're trying to convert an image that isn't 256 colors. Look at the status bar at the bottom, it will tell you if the process succeeded or failed.

Ok thanks alot Cannis It was the 256 color thing that was stoping me. Next question how do I put a pallete on the shp like the unittem.pal? And yes, I have extracted the unittem.pal.

Oh by the way this is what I built, its nothing special. It doesnt even have a purpose yet. Im thinking of mabey having it as a tiberium silo/power plant type thingy. Ill explain more once its completly finished.

Ok Like I said before I was able to copy it as an shp(ts) finally. Now a new problem has been brought up. When I start a new game and build the power plant the cameo shows up for my building but I cant see a damn thing when I build it. When I put the courser over the building were I put it, it shows the strength left in it but no building. Ill post the rules and art.ini for ya to see what I fudged up. And I know I did. Also the image I put up for you to look at is gaoild but when I converted it to shp I changed it to gaoil so you dont get confused.

second of all..you didnt assign any buildups/active anims for your structure..so it is very natural for the game not to show the building
