Default cloning super weapons

do you literally just copy and paste a new copy of the same thing? what i mean is do you just do this:

;original dominator stuff
DominatorWarhead=DominatorWH
DominatorDamage=1000;250
DominatorCaptureRange=1;4;
DominatorFirstAnim=PDFXCLD
DominatorSecondAnim=PDFXLOC
DominatorFireAtPercentage=20; ;50

;dominator clone, now ion cannon.
DominatorWarhead=DominatorWH
DominatorDamage=1000;250
DominatorCaptureRange=0
DominatorFirstAnim=IONBEAM
DominatorSecondAnim=CHRONOSB
DominatorFireAtPercentage=20; ;50

the bold is what i changed in the clone from the original...also, i think i need to change the DominatorWH to something for the clone, but i don't know what. also, i don't get whether my ion cannon should still use the same lines, the one in italics, as the real dominator. shouldn't they be renamed to something else and if so what?

Some people here definitely know what theyre talkin about when it comes to superweapons. I dont. But seeing as there have been many heated arguements over sweapons in these forums, i'm predicting it aint that simple. For some info, may not help, check the superweapon post in the forum...some interesting stuff in it...Superweapon Researches or somethin.

yes i know it's not that simple, i'm not some dumbass who knows nothing about ini editing. i am simply asking how to clone a super weapon. you (Xgamer) brought up the idea of cloning a super weapon and changing the clone to the ion cannon, but now you won't tell me how to do it. i don't get how to clone super weapons, hence i made this thread in the hopes that some kind person would tell me, but no.

I didn't bring up the topic of cloning superweapons, I merely answer them, and I've answered too many times.

As TGMTE said, clone the original superweapon's section and change whatever is there for Action=. Change Action= to an unused action. Some of these include AttackMoveTar (which will give a nice spinning cursor) or TibSunBug (which will give you a circle with a slash through it).

Some superweapons can't be cloned; I think the Dominator can't cause it relies on the same tags.
