Problems with Cameos
I've been experimenting with Cameos, and have been adding text to a PCX without it as a test (though I plan to use it if I can get it working). But, the XCC Mixer won't convert PCXs into SHPs now, and I have no idea why.
Here's the file, which was originally made by Renegade.
*two seconds later* Hmm....*makes a gif* There it goes...

they are probably in the wrong color-depth, get PSP trial from http://www.jasc.com and then in xcc copy the cameo.pal as .pal(jasc) then use psp to apply the palette to the cameo then try and convert it to shp

make sure that the image attributes is 60x48x256, where 256 stands for the color depth and the image is 8-but..these information can be shown when you select the image in the xcc mixer.

Dude...that's a COD no-text version of the terra howitzer...
Why do you think the file is called "howzicon 0000 24-Bit noname.pcx"?
btw: the zip includes a one-lined no-text-version as well...
even more btw: next time you have probs with COD-cameos, it might be useful to visit the COD-forums instead... [LINK]

Is it me or is that cameo wrong? The darkened part is supposed to be 7 lines in height.

i do my darkened line about 8 maybe 9 pixels in height..so if anybody try to steal it (although i dont publish ) will expect some heavy flaming..i suggest every cameo maker must have his own way to 'protect' his cameo work..some ppl take these cameos and say 'i made em'
