Ok, how about you just make an MSN Group upload the files there ( they have basic instructions and ask you do install the MSN upload tool ), then just link to that MSN group. You wont be able to hotlink (AKA use the IMG code) the images because they use dynamic linking, though a link to the group would work. It has really basic and easy to understand instructions and you can even put a little web page or two together quite easily. Its far and the best way for someone who has no web knowedge to start out.
