Default .MIX help

I have made a few new SHP's and added them to a new .MIX file called Expand02, but the method wont give results..can any1 Help me so that I can get this SHP problem out of my editing life?

SHP files normaly go to into ecache(md)xx.mix...if the mix file name ended with a (md) (without brackets), this means the mix files will only work with yuris revenge.

ok..regarding .mix files stuff:

expandxx.mix contains: .INI, .PKT, .MAP files
in other words, it contains the INItialization settings and map files that are to be loaded in the game..

ecachexx.mix contains: .SHP, .VXL, .HVA files
in other words, it contains the graphic files of the game..

the same goes with YR but instead it has an md (mission disk) entry like:

expandmdxx.mix and ecachemdxx.mix..it contains stuff the same as i mentioned above..

Thankyou for the link, but while im online, how do you get the little animations on custom buildings to work? I tried to make it like a gif but I get nothing out of that, plus when I go to change PCX's to SHP's (in this case six PCX's) I set the count frames to 6, because of cause there are six PCX's, but the XCC mixer app spews XP 'Encountered a problem' errors at me..I have the ecache02, and expand 02, with the ecache 02 file inside the expand02 file..But only a cameo works, not the building.
