How do you change the country flags in the GUI? I found a file that seems like the Iraqi flag used by the game in those areas and I changed it to the Ukrainian flag, but the game ignores the change when I put the SHP in the directory. Am I forgetting something?

The file I have changed is arbi.shp. I can't find any others that seem like they would be the one to change.

make sure the file is in a correct palette..and try putting it in ecachexx.mix

Palete has been double checked and is fine. No effect from either ecache01.mix or ecachemd01.mix.

When I tried to change my flags, I figured that the *.pcx also has to be there...and people told me to put the stuff directly into the game directory...

My flag is still fucked up anyway...and I've checked size, palette, everything ten times...

I'll keep trying, I know it's possible.

After I figure it out, I'll post it here.

Update: The pcx is the one displayed, but whenever I edit one, even one that already works, it screws up. There is, I guess, some trick to editing it.

Update: SUCCESS!!! It seems that if you edit one, it won't look right no matter what...but if you create a totally new pcx and edit it to make it work right, it will display correctly! Whoohoo! Now I got Ukraine! Unfortunately, now I need to redo the loading screen and get a Ukrainian flag SHP...and I still haven't found a Yuri flag SHP.
