Default Ra2.tlb

I added all the SUN.tlb (from ts) to Ra2.tlb but have no clue what to do so ill post the modified tlb. www.freewebs.com/jop7821/ra2.zipRa2 tlb

The renamed TS .tlb file will prevent crases from the AIgenerals if you have those enabled in the rulesmd.ini

At least that's what i think you're reffering to.. :/

Andre, that was the function of TS's ai.tlb, sun.tlb does the same function as ra2.tlb.

Why don't we just reveres engineer it. Since the source code probable will never be released.

This can be done but you will need one special tool made. Someone will need to re-edit a hex editor. (one that dose work) like Hex Workshop from (www.bpsoft.com) and add in it a way to record the differences between several file. And record a list of scripts to change the game file when enough info about the file is gathered to make an attempt at change the game.

Since there are more then four files using the TS engine (TS, TS/FS, RA2 and RA2/YR) there are also all of the version that where put out to fix each of the games. And with this info you can reconstruct the structure of the game and identify what sections and some of the strings of code are doing. But a data base will need to be made so we can figure out how to modify the game.exe. instead of waiting for the next guy to figure out how to change one piece of the game.

So is any one game.

Also if any one has them. TS, FS, RA2 and RA2YR beta files and some notes of changes to them before these games where realest will be a plus!

btw couldn't we use the patches to the games (YR 1.001 or something) because it says it modifies the exe so couldn't we use that to figure out how they modify it or no?

Also I have found a method of sorting the hex code.

I will need a program made that can act like a Hex word processor and excel with the ability to translate different sections of the program with different sets of code instructions. And to keep track of the sections an offsets.

Here is a sample of some of the code strings
