What would it be used for?
Only a few modders would is it, it's just a visual effect, whereas things like adding superweapons, infantry deaths etc is stuff which really is required in order to do something new.

This topic was for trying to fix some of the stuff that was messed up by WW and can not be fix by mer modding. There is a list of stuff that is not able to fix with out getting in the game.exe. I have made a lot of old stuff work again throw the TX but there are stuff we still want to fix like spotlight controls, ice, amphibious rail bridges and more.

i planned to do ice some time
a nice thing for you tx guys would be new terrain types
i dunno what i'll be doin though
as plans don't make much sense to me...

anyway add stuff to the "wishlist" (check for the link on my homepage) if you got new ideas, it's why it's there

Yes having more tile type would be nice there are unnused tile type number that are not used

There were TS missions where if you were caught in the spotlight you'd cause a trigger to spring. So it is an event that can be recognized. If it can be hooked up to something else, like play a sound (good for human players) and like piss off the AI as if you were attacking its base or miners, then it wouldn't just be eye-candy...
