Default The Original Mirage Tank

The original Mirage Tank was supposed to be able disguise in a similar manner as spies.

Following instructions might help putting this feature back in.

Find the TankMakeupKit weapon.

Change it to this:

[TankMakeupKit]
Damage=1
ROF=100
Range=-2
Projectile=InvisibleAll
Speed=100
OmniFire=yes
FireOnce=yes
Warhead=TankSnapshot
RevealOnFire=no
TerrainFire=yes
Report=MirageTankDisguise
FireWhileMoving=no

Then, we need to edit the TankSnapshot warhead.

Change it to this:

[TankSnapshot]
Verses=0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%
MakesDisguise=yes

Now to Mirage Tank rules.

Changes:
Primary=TankMakeupKit
Secondary=MirageGun
RadarVisible=no
RadarInvisible=yes

Doing this also allows the Mirage Tank get a better weapon when at elite status (don't forget that it is invisible on radar too!).

Can you put that in Morons language so I can understand? :lol: So what you're saying is that the mirage tank was originally supposed to select what to disguise as like the spy? Is this the same Mirage Tank Coding as the one in DeeZIre?

Yes, apart from that it has OmniFire=yes (so it won't change facing when targeting a tree, what reveals it to enemy :tard.

Yes, but might to have ask DeeZire as well, because the tutorial is based on DeeZire's.

To be honest I'm sure DeeZire won't mind, just give credit where it's due. DeeZire is a nice guy he'll understand and he belives that the internet should be a way of exchanging information for free (check the FAQ for that one) besides I doubt he'll sue if you do use it as long as you give credit.

One thing that is missing from that tutorial, is that in the art code, SecondaryFireFLH= should be added, making the value identical to that of PrimaryFireFLH=

I did not ask for permission. Why should I have? So far, only I have them. They were all on the old RA2 Specific Editing Tutorials, which were and are going to be totally public again (when DeeZire uploads them). All are by DeeZire.
