There IS a way to turn GMAX files into vxls! Successfully! All you need is GMAX, the md3 export utility, 3d explore, and 3ds2vxl. With the utility, you export as a quakeIII model, then use 3d explore to convert it into .3ds! Then convert the 3ds into a voxel, and viola!
