I found the second panel, but where are all the default buildings?,[IE airport],
b/c when I go to XCC object extractor,I choose the destination and extract, they all come out .XIF in the certain folder, and when I find them again in XCC mixer,I try to conert as PCX but it doesn;t give me that option
File>Find will find all instances of what you are looking for. Use wildcards (* and ?) so you find everything... like for the airport look for c?airp.shp
Don't use the object extractor, use the mixer like I described.
The Object extractor turns extracts into a XIF file, which is a file format used by XCC Mixer for data dumps. For what Olaf told me, they can be read by XCC Mixer, and extracted. I never tried to do it though.
Hey had the same prob. i've xif files but i cant cope them with xcc to a vxl or shp... only to text, wav(?) html.. well it says copy as vxl but if i do that, the program just crashes?? whats wrong?
0) Make sure you have a working version of xcc mixer.
1) Click on the .shp file on the left sidebar. If you do this right, you should see all of the .shp's frames on the right.
2) Right-click on the .shp file.
3) In the popup menu, select "Copy as PCX". Not "COPY as PCX (Single)", just "Copy as PCX."
4) Use Windows Explorer to go to the folder where XCC mixer is instaled.
5) Open up your .pcx files.
