Default EMP Weapon

Hi,

I plan to make an EMP (Electro magnet impulse) weapon that would make it's target inoperable. The thing is that I want it to shoot out like a prism beam (or ray) and cause an explosion (something like the "chrono dome") on it's target and cause an area effect making buildings and vehicles inoperable for some period (10 secs, maybe), but the tank can run away shortly after the shot.
This doesn't want to work when I set Temporal=no and I also can't make an area effect, nor the "dome".
Please help me

There is a very little bit of EMPulse remain in RA2/YR. It has no CellSpread and only damage (paralize) one unit. Check out Deezire's mod for it.

you could give it a ROF of 1 and have the unit distribute fire so it's takes out multiple units by shooting many EMP beams at high ROF.

Meh, I know. I'm going ot have a EMP infantry for China because China in my mod has crappy tanks...

Pulse ir right, typo. I'm no pro, I just use TibEd to make changes to the normal YR, just to make it interesting. If I get better on making mods, I'll make a bigger one and publish it... Maybe...

It seems unavailable to distribute the EMP beams because the game engine wants the Temporal=yes if EMEffect=yes so when it moves or shoots another object, it loses it's previos target and releases it. Maybe a long-time effect? Also the IsBigLaser=yes doesn't wan't to work, even if I set IsLaser=yes.

Tired of waitin for a long time to save, run & debug the mod... Expecially when it has bugs

make it deploy, taht works, and jsut use a altered teslacoil animation.

i tried a SW Emp called GoldenEye in honor of the movie but it didn't work
