Default Veins and ionstorms

What are veins(immune against Veins)?
Are there still ion storms in RA2? How?

Veins are some sort of creatures?! (not sure) that existed in Tiberian Sun. but RA2 uses Tiberian Sun engine but does not employ Veins logic. Ion storms is converted to Lightning Storm for the allies. correct me if i'm worng. .

I meant those small storms who showed up in RA1 when you have used the chrono thing much.

The small storms (wacky cyclone-looking things) were chrono-vortexes..

I've never seen them naturally occurring in RA2/Yuri's, just through mods..

I actually never saw one for the first 6 months I played RA1..

It wasnt until I overused/abused the Chronosphere, that one finally appeared..

not knowing what it was (as I had never seen it before), I sent an entire attack group to investigate (30+ medium tanks)..

..Those poor tanks were never seen/heard from again--not a single one survived..

Veins is a sort of weed thats is actually growing on some TS maps, when the 'Veinhole Monster' is killed the veins stop growing. Also most of the vehicles & infantry are killed when traffeling trough the veins-fields

Hover vehicles, Light vehicles like NOD attack cycle and all infantry can move through viens without damage.

The only way they can get damaged is if they attack the " mouth ", the mouth spits out tiberium gas when attacked and this gas can take out infantry rather quickly.

2 or three shots from the Ion Cannon can take those suckers out. However the shots are better left against the enemy.

ImmuneToVeins= can still be used, if you want to create your own type of damage.

Ghost Stalker can take out a vienhole monster in two or three shots.

Juggernaughts/NOD Artillery can take them out swiftly as well, tho it appears that the most effective weapons against it are shell based rapid fire, Such as NOD Buggy and minigunner's.
