what weapon?
Super weapons don't use normal weapons ...except for the EMP Cannon in TS.

That's not necessarily true is it? The nuke SW generates and activates the NukeCarrier weapon which spawns the NukeDown weapon that does the damage.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

using airburst weapons can achieve the weather cloud effect, i used it for acid rain in one of my older mods. :rofl:

Super weapons don't use normal weapons ...except for the EMP Cannon in TS.

Actually, the MultiMissile was a weapon fired by a Superweapon (Type=MultiMissile) and so is the Nuke in RA2 (Type=MultiMissile also).
The MultiMissile type allows you to specify a weapon with which it will fire with. However only weapons coded in a specific way.

NukeCarrier is a dummy weapon.

You know what, I like the ideas in this thread, Nick seems like a good ini editor, which is something I can NOT get a handle of.
I've been working on trying to get a fantasy mod on the work, but i'm afraid the limits of the ra2 engine is holding me back, so i'm gonna throw in the towel on that one, however I still wanna work on some graphics and such.
So if you guys want, I can be the third member of this team. I am one of the few that can do infantry SHP from scratch, cause well, I have patients lol. I'm not a pro at it yet, but I think i'm getting better. I do buildings well, and pretty much any graphics aside from voxels.
However, I just beg of you that you (or we) don't turn it into a n00b mod or something. I personally like the ideas of the original post, and i'd like the game to feel like a proffessional "expansion" to Yuris Revenge and RA2....So if you guys are serious about making something good, then i'll help too!

thanks, zarzoz. I also want to make it into a very professional YR expansion(like lao tze's new units, only probably a bigger mod). I don't want it to be n00b style mod either(like the ones i used to make but never released).
Anyway, we definitely need a shp editor, so this is pretty lucky for us. I'm already going to begin work on the mod today, but using alternate images(just to get the coding since we don't have all the right images yet and voxels).
What do you think the mod should be called? And if you and sinistershadow want, i can make a super-nice-and-flashy Flash website for our mod.
