Yea, that guide is amazing! I learned alot from it. Just take the time and read it creafully, start with the rules files.. Since they are what you will be working with most of the time..

ok to give you a peek:

expandxx.mix for RA2
expandmdxx.mix for YR
it contains: INI's .PKT and .MAP files

ecachexx.mix for RA2
ecachemdxx.mix for YR
it contains: .VXL and .HVA and all the .SHP graphics
