Good Idea Bad Idea.
Hehe, good old animaniacs cartoon...
Anyhoo
1.Give tanks ammo pips to know when they are ready to fire, and the more damage the unit takes, the long it takes to reload the main gun.
2.Inaccuracy, I kinda implemented this in GIs and Conscripts, non-verteran infantry will be inaccurate so they don't hit everytime and the weapon is more inaccurate the further the target.
3.Give all tanks machine guns.
4.Decrease the amount of damage a tanks can take so it's more closer to life.(already kinda implemented, will be taken farther)
5.Make all tank fire invisible(but still delayed) to give off a sense of shell speed.
6.Give tanks 'bunker' mode where they are immobile, deploy a sand bag barrier around itself, and increase their range and ROF and defense.(keep in mind that I do not have YR).
7.Give tesla coils a distinct humming sound for added effect.
8.Make the nuke, a real nuke, and the weatherstorm a huge super cell that's mapwide and kills things everywhere for a more realistic feel.
9.Make Naval Units Bigger and Better.
10.Make infantry cheaper.

8. Worthless....if that could be done, a nuke would affect the entire map, itd be realistic, but no one would be so stupid to nuke or storm his own base as well...

yeah.. but still be ncie if it was slightly mroe realistic, it'd only be heat damage with localized radiation like real life, The Storm, you're right about.

3: I only give some tanks (well, only the M1 right now) a machine gun. Giving every tank a machine gun makes tanks short on weaknesses. Besides, some tanks wouldn't logically be equipped with MGs. Take the tesla tank, for instance. Why would it have a machine gun?

True, but I've given every non-insanely powerful tank a machine gun, but their guns are weak compaired(Ex Rhino Tanks shoot a machine gun that does 10 damage every, 5 ROF, while the standard GI does 23 at 5 ROF)to what infantry can do, plus their range is slightly less than some infantry(deployed GI for one thing).
Plus I'me going to add tons and tons of nice little anti tank infantry units .
Plus, that's the reason I gave weapon the whole scatter thing.
The whole aim of my mod is to make stuff abit more dynamic(IE, infantry cheaper, more powerful, but mroe vulnerable and and tanks more powerful)

1: Can you even do this if you give the tanks secondary weapons?
2: I personally only give inaccuracy to the Battleship (think RA1 cruiser), but whatever works for you. Just don't give innacuracy to guided missiles (like the GGI launcher).
5: I don't know, I like to see tank shots in midair, unrealistic as it is.
8: No. Who would build a superweapon that hurts themselves as much as it hurts the enemy?
9: Yeah. Definately.

1. Thought of that already - and done it too. I believe my early version of MSK had it. And yes it also happens when secondary fire is used. There will also be a problem when a unit is promoted to elite and the weapon has a different ROF.
2. You'll probably don't want to do that, as they will most likely never hit.
3. That would make tanks all-powerful, and un-balance the game.
4. I think they're already weak enough. A handful of gis or conscripts per tank will easily take iit down unless the opponent is smart and crushes the little pipsqueaks.
5. ---
6. What for?
7. ---
8. Wayyyy too powerful.
9. ---
10. You'll have to make them weaker, and with a smaller punch. However, players useually don't like having to manage massive armies.

2. I already did, I jsut took the inaccurate part off of the flak scatter, I had to use cellspread though, it's a pretty cool effect.
3. Tanks still don't command the battlefield, there's too many things that can kill them including infantry with rockets.
