Default barrel recoil

I was wondering,
how can I make a cannon recoil?
should I make the turret and barrel one section or could I make them sepperat?
also, I've been having trouble making normals on barrels so how can I make normals on a circular section?

Cannon can't recoil, unless you make an invisible turret and the barrel is the whole building.
About the normals, best thing to do is do it by hand.

I don't want the whole turret to recoil, only the barrel,
here this can give you a hint, I want the barrel ro recoil in this voxel

Edit barrel HVA so it moves backward.

I meant that you'll need to create animated HVA where the barrel steps back.

Spidey, look at YrArg for one of the voxels Brute51 made, i think its the Vendetta Siege Tank, and study the way the three barrels recoil at different times. Thats done in the hva, youll get an idea on how he made it.

actually, u can use the turret animation logic, like the prism tank, just stick the barrel to the turret, and make different versions for the animation
