Default AI trouble and AI question

What's wrong when the AI doesn't build any "teams" ?
I have changed some things in the rulesmd.ini that is about the ai and how it should work and so on. But I have no idea what I could have done that makes it not to build anything but some infantry, and nothing else. They also build ALOT of base defenses, could that be the problem, that I changed something about the base defenses??

They don't even attack me with their pity group of infantry, they just move them out of the base and then back in.. I have attacked them, but they still don't build anything?

So, what have I changed that I shouldn't have changed ? :/
btw, I was Irag and was against another Soviet sided team..


And, again I'm confused about the aimd.ini.. If a teamtype is set to be autocreate=yes. Isn't a trigger needed? If a trigger is needed, why is there an autocreate? Confuses me..

'autocreate' means 'build it' rather than 'recruit it from the field'.

The units you are seeing are the basic refinery defense units, they are not created as a result of anything happening in aimd.ini.

For some reason the AI does not think it is ready to build teams. Either:

You screwed up the walls and the AI can't build walls around its conyard, although it wants to.

You tried increasing 'HarvestersPerRefinery' - now the AI still won't build more miners but it is not satisfied with the ones it does build.

The map you played on has IgnoreGlobalAITriggers= set to "yes".

There's a couple of other possible reasons, but I think these are the most common.

That's my problem, and I suppose it is the same with yuri's harvesters, so I won't increase them either

Because Westwood was essentially lazy and did not make use of the AI code in its entirety, and as a result did not fix many elements which are present but do not work properly or reliably.
