A) dont use TibEd, its gay and only newbie mod makers use it, use wordpad/notepad
B) convert the icon to pcx in XCC mixer
C) open psp, open the saved icon, save the current palette. Now edit the text and shit, and load the old palette, save as pcx(zsoft paintbrush), convert to shp using XCC mixer, youre done!
hope this helps,

lol, its just that with tibed, there are a lot of things you cannot do, and you will never learn how to do those unless you use a normal text editor, and if you need help with the editing...then just ask

:dead: If I have it as a shp.(came from a zip.file) do I extract it to the westwood folder in my custom folder and open xcc mixer and then find the folder and copy the (in mix editor) icon.shp as a pcx(single),then open psp, open the icon, save the palette, and how do I edit the font/words? :dead:

use a graphics editing program, preferably adobe photoshop, if u dont have that, u can also use PSP, dont have it? download the trial version of PSP, and im not gonna tell u where.... google.com
take your time to familirize yourself with whatever program u have, if u already have them and know how to use them, do whatever u want with the pcx files, but i doubt u know what to do....
