Default Pavement - how to?

Hi there...I recently tried to add buildable pavement to YR, since I have subterranean units in my mod; unfortunately, the pavement I added (the red one) was only buildable on the other pavement (the light-gray one)...!? :/

Can anybody tell me how to add buildable pavement that behaves like the one in Tiberian Sun?

Thanks...

Copy pavement code from ts rules.ini to Ra2/YR rules.ini. Now add UIName= and change Owner=. Then copy codes from TS art.ini to Ra2/YR art.ini. I think it will work.

Tthere is already a pavement here in Ra2/YR, in rules(md).ini it is [GAGREEN]. U can also use it but have to change ToTile= as like TS pavement.

got solution ?

Your first solution is the one I tried...but I'm gonna try GAGREEN now, perhaps it's hardcoded to work... (what other use would it have?)

From what little I've seen of this, I believe the following restrictions apply. The pavement can only be placed on whatever terrain is defined as being the "CLEAR" type in the iso control files. It also always uses the pavement lat system (not too sure about that, but other wise how does it lat since you don't specify a tile set to use, only the tile itself) and it is always set to not allow subterranean movement.

Great! Now how do I make it so that structures can only be placed on the pavement? (like Dune)

It does use the LAT system, but I think it just replaces the light grass. I've found that the dark grass is not replaced. Seeing as most maps have lots of dabs of dark grass, I found it not worthwhile to add pavement.
