Default Making new Units

Okay so I am new to this whole thing. I have the script for Max, I have the XCC mix tools. Here is what I need. A viewer thing so I can see what my tank looks like in the game. I have wills Voxel Editor 2 but you can't see what the thing looks like. Also Animations how do I do them. I have read through the forums and can't find what I am looking for. Any help please

If you have HVA editor you can use that, it should be a plugin for the voxel editors. Or you could just rename the items so they replace an ingame voxel and you can see what it looks like ingame (TTNK for instance, should be tesla tank).

For Animation pen XCC Mixer, select an exising animation, be shure that it is displayed in Animation Palette ( Ctrl+P, Red Alert 2 Mix -> ANIM.PAL ), convert it to PCX ( right click on it ->"Copy as PCX" ), then edit those PCXs with an image editor ( you can create more images or resize them, just keep the background color the same ), rename all the PCX, like Mynewanim #### ( where #### are numbers, starting with 0000 -the first frame, 0001- the second one, 0002... you get the point ), then select ALL PCX in XCC Mixer, right-click them and "copy as
SHP ( TS )" and you have a new animation
Now use XCC Mix editor to insert this SHP inside a Mix, and it's all done.
The same goes for soldiers ( use UNITSNO or another UNIT palette, and get ready to create about 2-3-400 images ), for SHP units, or for buildings
and building animations.

Yes, although I always use SMCV for non-turret voxels and HTNK for voxels with turret. You get and MCV and Rhino at the start of a game, that faster viewing .
