I was on another red 2 site and I read that the buildings were originally going to be able to close in on themselves to defend themselves against the super weapons. That idea was then scrapped because it took away the powerful presence of the SWs. Does anyone know how to get the buildings to do this. Is it something easy in the rules, or is it going to be a pain to edit?
its called strategy.... they were probably wanting to copy SC's terran structures in a more credible way(i can say SC is more realistic than RA2 though....)
That's because they have multiple queing on each building as opposed to single build queing.
Well in SC, battle cruisers shoot 2 lasers while they should be firing massive lasers and the fact that tanks can't kill infantry in two shots is kidna well... out there.
Why not jsut have the magnetic drive(that's what the specs for the real one is called) propel the ship instead of having some type of liquid fuel, probably H and 02, rocket engine?
Well it takes 2 shots to kill a marine iwth a siege tank, I find that slightly odd.
I know its cheap and takes away form the iron curtain & force shield, but in my mod I already took the iron curtain out, and I very quickly found I needed protection form a nuke and lightning storm.
