I don't really know my way around PhotoShop very well, when I use auto-palette on rusi.shp in XCC mixer, it always goes to unittem.pal, which I know isn't the right one, as the colour's are faded or substituted for something else, I've even manually tried every palette on the list but none seem right.
What palette did you think it was Infraid? If, for me it still doesn't look right, I probably should re-download XCC utilities....

i dont think flags use palletes, since they are .pcxs...so i think you only have to convert them to 256-bit color mode and you'll be fine.

I agree with DZel, don't have to use any palette to see the flags with the correct colors... remember, using XCC, look for ra2.mix, local.mix, and XXX.pcx..... you shouldn't have to use palette (even if you select one, it won't affect thoses). And you should see the flags with a pink/magenta background !!

well it may have been, but JPEGs can only be 24bits/pixel. If you want to post an 8bit/pixel image use GIF. I think PNG can be 8 bit as well.

Of course PCX and JPEG can have palettes...just because a format supports 24 Bits of color, that doesn't mean it doesn't support less...

Something tells me you're hinting that I should use 4 bit (16 colour's) paletting....
But if so, why does the China flag for Eagle Red support 8 bit colours?...
Oh yeah, would anyone mind telling me the name of the swimming animation .shp for the Navy Seal / Tanya, as I can't seem to find them.

I was replying to Kravvitz & DeeZeL.
I myself never got this crappy flag-thing working...
And the swimming-anim is part of the unit's sequence.

Does that mean you removed the Star Force side because your flag appears distorted like mine?
