Default what do ya think?!

well, almost all likes to create your own modification. as you see, there are some graphics that are made so terrible and some graphics still use TibSun palette, right? i have this idea, if we are to clean up the language.mix\cameo.mix and get rid of all the unused icons and also some unused grafix in ra2.mix\local.mix and other .Mix files that contain such junk grafix and have taken precious spaces in our hard drives.

the question is, "is it possible to "clean" (delete or get rid of) up unnecessary graphic files from the language.mix and the ra2.mix? and is it also possible to replace all the content inside those latter mix files? thanx for reading..

why not try it?

The game developers probably left it in incase the game engine calls the files. If the files are gone, then there may be an error.

I have a gigantic hard drive myself, so I don't really care all that much about my disk space

well, the game engine relies on the INI's and "opens" the graphic files that are parsed on the rules.ini and the art.ini .

i thought of this because someone released a GENERALS .BIG utility and one of its functions is to replace the content of the .BIG files w/c we all know that is the file format used by the Generals. i was just wondering if it is possible. is Olaf van der Spek around? BLADE? DEEZIRE? anybody? what do you think? is it possible?!
