You'll have to paint your own. No getting around it. That's why there's not many voxel artists - it's kind of a stupidity/determination test which weeds out those either not talented or without the time.
Well the last time I editted the HIND was way back, I got it a rotor blade but the VXL is screwed up, or should I say that it's animation is screwed up because even though the HVA shows the rotor above the HIND body, the Rotors appear below the HIND in the game.
Don't mind the normals.
Oh and I'm a pretty good vxl artist I jsut hate normals... I really really hate normals.
You can attach good looking rotors by extracting / separating it from other voxels and attaching it to another one. (Use VXLUTIL to do this)
Then you just copy an exisitng HVA Animation and adust it if necessary in HVA Editor. (Make sure it has the same number of sections from the voxel from which the HVA was copied)
Make backups before you do this!
And Yes, normals can be a real pain, especially when your voxel has rounded parts.
