well.. its nice to have.... uhhh... moral support... but then... again... the bit problem with the " need staff" bit....
I was playing round with the idea of using different factions of the marine corps in there, the assault, warfare, orbital and funded (wayland yutani funded) versions.

Yeah im the Guild and Sleipner guy, this is my old alias, i removed the 666 sometime ago. Im posting under this, my back up name from my AvP2 clan name. I lost my p/w for 666 (again). Ill dig it up later when i get a chance.
Mellr0, i extracted all the sounds a while back, and im pretty sure with a little help i can get infantry, inc. bugs and pred done. One issue though; the compression on skins is REZ, and when uncompiled, my directory adds 3 gigs to my AvP2 directory... And i only have 2 gigs of space left, its pretty tight. If you got AvP2 though, i can help you get all skins, and convert them to SHPs and VXLs.

Need an AI writer/map maker.
Current problems: Making the sides fair.. Normally aliens have no more than facehuggers against apc's and marines. Chestbursters are killd te instant they pop out of the chest., so attempting to program create neutral buildings which agressively build civillians, as if they were trying to escape.

Easily bypassed, APC = Preat, as for Face huggers etc, cloak? Make em invisible until they attack. Bugs can act against armour, just make very low $ with a ratio in place. E.g. Rine - $300, Drone - $100, like a stale mate scenario, depending on circumstances, rine kills two of bugs, third bug gets kill. Its all in speed and power, not range.

Facehuggers are already cloaked if they are not moving and not attacking.
The process for getting a praetorian or carrier, and the process for getting smaller bugs such as a runner or drone are different.
Runners or drones are mainly made by facehuggers (I.E. they can really crop up anywhere). Praetorians and carriers really are only available from the base ( mainly, a brooding chamber because of all the additional suppliments they need).
Again... need AI or Map makers.. need to make some huamns dotted round so aliens stand more of a chance.
Note: aliens can set up in minutes, predators in about 10 minutes, and marines take... a while... building rates are much higher.

Hint.. Buils a site.. promote yourself on other forums and keep coding..
Oh and try and getting some 3d moddels from the games, you might be able to use those

A Question of healing...
Can i give a building both a Repairbullet (vehicle) fixing weapon and a Healing (infantry) weapon?
or does only a vxl work when using repair bullet?
