Default tank upgrades...?

I have an idea ( NOW is nothing more...):
To make something to make the vehicles to get promoted;
Maybe somebody already tried and knows how to do it, or tried and knows that it's impossibile...
It could be like the infantry armorery ( i mean, the tank will enter inside and when it gets out it's promoted ), or something to "spawn" a crate, or evan a building ( that looks like the derelickt tank ), and the tanks to be forced to destroy it...

i think there was a forum at ppm which discussed your idea, but last time i checked, they went nowhere.

YOu cant make a crate appear
and if you can youcant let it be automaticaly a promotional one (exept if u disable the rest of the functions but where is the fun of that)
And armorys are only able to be used by inf.
So say bye bye to your idea coz this isnt gonna work

I know that armorery is just for infantry, in fact i was thining to edit somehow the Service Depot's animations, and i said "LIKE the infantry armorery ( i mean, the tank will enter inside and when it gets out it's promoted )"; but i changed my mind, and I know exactly how to do it, evan if it's a little ( or a little more... ) complicated; but i need to create some animations, and it will be done

Now it's done; I created an invisible building, that self-destruct itself n the second it is build, and it's death weapon have an animation that creates a soldier using the "mutate2" warhead, so that soldier is civilian; it's SHP is actually bullseye's shp; all his sequences reffers only to the first frame; so it will actually act like a building ( speed=0 )
And... It's possibile to build crates, in the same way, using again a self-destruct, invisible building, with "CrateBeneath=yes"

Well...there are two separate things:
1) the selfdestructing building wich gives an infantry that looks like, and behaves like a building, and when it' destroyed by a unit will upgrade that unit ( in my mod - owner=YuriCountry )
2) another self-destructing building wich creates a crate, so practically you build a crate ( any country can build this one ), and I wrote about it just to show to Daedalus that sometimes you can make crates appear...

Well, if you want the unit to get promoted, you could make the dummy infantry/ quasi-building have a huge value and have the unit kill the dummy. Is that what you mean?
