how can you make the aegis cruiser fire its missiles on land?

I'm not sure, I've been trying to get them to hit land targets also. I think it has something to do with the warhead. There is an area towards the bottom of the rules file that says where they can and can't fire. I think if you edit the aegies missile it will hit land, but none of my tries have worked. If anyone knows about this, I would like to know also.

The Aegis cruisers weapon projectile doesnt have AG=yes, change that.
Also, if you want it to be able to target other ships, remove the comment on AN=yes

Check the xxxTargeting= statemenets. Read about them in the top of Rules.ini or check out Deezire's guide.

They have LandTargetting=1, which makes the Aegis Cruiser not fire on land. Change it to 0

i was thinking that the Aegis could also launch missiles like the Drednaught does. .

ok. thanks to all who gave me ideas.
now i need to know how make the destroyers fire on land with missiles besides the cannon on front and the osprey(which is supposed to be a helicopter, ryt?)

I have tried this (always bugged me that the Aegis boat can't do what it can in real life -i.e. shoot missiles at anything) and I've managed to be able to get it to shoot at units but not buildings, by setting the landtargetting value to 0 (or eliminating the line entirely). Any clue why it can't fire on buildings?

i can't understand a thing ur trying to say. at least use proper grammar.

to red october:
because its warhead, samwh, has 0% on buildings. if u want it to fire normally, make the warhead % at least 3%. 0, 1, and 2% have special properties as listed in the comments.
