Default patriot missile crisis...need help

i put patriot missiles and flak cannons on my map, but they don't work. I just want them to attack any air unit that passes them.

Yeah you need to put a power plant on the map, I think there is another way but I'm not sure myself.

there are a total of eight nuclear reactors on the map. what do you mean supply them with power?

when I double click on them and i get my window with all the details, there is a place that want to know what the power support is. my options are 1 or 0. does this have anything to do with anything?

Make them Civilian buildings (all of them) so that they will attack anything they want (anything that goes by) and yes you do need powerplants.

do not put 8 nuke reactors. there is a more simpler way to do this. put one reactor in the map (between the red and blue lines so it doesnt show up on the map itself). then, go to the edit ini rules, and find civilians (or something, i havent made a map in a while). add a new line to it (next to the big box there is add and delete) and type in power=#### where #'s=amount of power you want (ex. power=9999999). i believe that is the correct tag. correct me if im wrong. that way, one civ power plant will generate that much power (instead of default).

for the attacking thing, there are many different commands you can give it under 'state' options. change it to either area guard or attack.
