Auronium Crisis mod making starts....
Hi everyone! I'm collecting group of mod makers to create new mod Auronium Crisis. It will be total conversion mod like Allies Revenge 2 (great! download it!) and will have three fighting against themselves sides: Vintraides, Alphas (still to discuss) and Speeder Federation (sure to discuss). I can't tell more now but I wanna find some good mod makers who will help me making this mod. If you can make good structure SHPs, vehicle VXLs, title, loading etc screens, BINK videos, and ini settings email me so I will send U plans of Auronium Crisis - you will be able to send me your ideas and also if you wanna join my Speeder Federation  and help me making this mod, e-mail me. I'm still collecting mod creators to it - when I finish , I will tell about it here. So please help me making that total conversion - Auronium Crisis.
My e-mail is: SpeederRA2@poczta.fm (Poland)

What are you actually gonna do on the project?
And why do you think people would join you, if, for all we now, it could be something along the lines of "Auronium Crisis: The Return of the Big Fluffy Bunny Rabbits"...?!

Notes to all newbies (im in a good mood, could have also called you n00b)
1) Finding help in Ra2-modding is close to impossible
2) even if so, you are making a TC. Do you know how long that will take
3) Also i dont really have the idea you are verry tallented with rules. Learning might help so dont make spammy topics coz then we dont wanna help.

Sorry man, as hard as it sounds, RA2 is just too dead for new mods. Only the elites are left, and they all have their own mods...

There are plenty of newbies around, unfortunately almost all of them want to start their own mods and don't want to join existing teams.
Many of the elites have left RA2/YR modding and have moved onto Gen/ZH or have left the community. Also I wouldn't call most of us elite, sure several of us have been around for a long time and know a lot about modding this game... I should probably stop here, since I don't want to offend anyone.
You can get ini coding help at many different RA2/YR modding forums, but finding people to help with graphics is more difficult.

Erm, this is not new...it happens everywhere, new people are attracted to modding because of the capabilities to create something themselves, not for other person. Its just logical. You only learn that sometimes its easier to work on a mod after you lead one and are unsuccessful or tired.
Someone make a sticky topic about a line of conduct to follow for newbies, not offensively, but advicing the path to evolve correctly. As most people dont find associates for their projects, and just abandon.
By the way, Speeder makes good SHPs in fact, but the problem is that for a TC you need either a hell of time, or a hell of people. And the hell of people doesnt always work. The first thing to do is learn, after you consider your skills are enough, start a big project. If you do one from the beginning, youll get frustrated pretty soon, trust me!

That was a general statement about the conditions in this forum. The chance he'll get a thread stickied drops by 2% every additional day the moddies ignore us.
