Default SHP Facings

Is there any way to increase the facings on an SHP unit?

Could I, for example, use the terror drone's projectile (just example ) as a vehicle unit? It has 32 facings.

RotCount in art.ini doesn't work.

A shp has 8 different facings if im right. no need for more, seeing the game wont support more facings.
And the terrordrone is allready a vehicle, so i guess you can use the projectile as one, though it will look crappy

Im not sure what effect might more than 8 facings have, but its not a good one, since the game relies on equally sized squared celles in an iso angle. Having more than 8 facings, if working, means the facing will be inconsistent with the cells.

In addition, the locomotors are coded to either support infinite facings (for voxels) or 8 facings (for SHPs) – therefore, you'd have to edit the locomotors in order to make more faces work...

...which, as you might have guessed, are hardcoded.

But you can use lesser facings. The vbronto only has 4 facings. That looks really crappy when he walks

Why do you want so many facings if i might ask. All ww anims have 8 facings

He said something about the terror drone's projectile, maybe he wants to use it as a projectile. Or maybe that was just an example to show what he wanted.
