For some reason, when I edit the rules.ini file it doesn't seem to work in the actual game. Can someone tell how to make that stupid file to work :wtf:

After editing the rules.ini or rulesmd.ini file, directly place the file in the RA2 folder.

Or,

Make a mix file (by XCC Mix Editor) named expand#.mix (where #=02-99) and insert the rules.ini file inside it. Now place the mix directly in the RA2 folder.

You say you're using a rules.ini, unless you're modding RA2 then that .ini is pretty much worthless with Yuri's Revenge.

Click here to d/l a completely clean and unedited rulesmd.ini (which is used for YR modding).

And as Psycho said - place it in your RA2 directory.

Edit: Mantis887 could you let me know when you've d/l'ed or got it from somewhere else? It's just I want to take it down from my d/l's page.
