You can make a toxin stream weapon. Remember Tiberian Sun's flamethrower? You can use the same effect but with a different image. So if you change the fire particle into something that looks like a gas cloud, you have a chem sprayer.

ok i now have the chem spray shp from tiberian dawn... i spent all of last night making it and getting the pallets right but the main problem is getting it imported into the game... i put the shp in my ecache.mix like with the last mod... is this right... and i even got the chem explosion that occors when a chem warrior dies...problem is i don't know how to add them to rules.ini and if theres another ini that needs things added to it... if anyone could helpout... i'd rather have a chem warrior than a Flame thrower infantry... thanks

You are better off recolouring the flameall.shp file from TS to be green (I've done the same thing myself, but for RA2). You can then clone the fire weapon and particle systems (i.e. make copies of them that have different names and use different graphics, but otherwise act the same) with the new animation used.

not sure how that would work... is there a detailed tutorial of something that could walk me through it??? any help would be good
