Aah, yes...the infamous "Rinternal Error". Bringer of Doom. Destroyer of Mods. Big Brother of the IE. Do not feed.

@martyr: Why not simply use Invisible=yes?

Or, as a last resort, Cloak? I know it sucks to use it for such things, but better than totally invisible, isn't it?

Invisible=yes is the cause of the RE. [InvisibleInGame=yes also results in an RE]
If the mine layer is under attack when it deploys, the error occurs. This happens in DeeZire too.
Cloak would suit me fine but the only way to cloak a building is with cloak generator and that causes massive slow down.
I'm not fond of the infantry method (neutral infantry) so the only option is graphical invisibility.

And can infantry be invisible for the enemy (not using cloak logic). Is something like AltImage existing for infantry?

NO, but you can use invisible=yes. But that is a unbalanced ta. You should use cloak....

I hate to blow my own trumpet but oh my god, I am a genious!

The problem with the Mine Layer is solved!
I have not used AltImage or anything like that (I am still interested to see if we can get this working though.)

You can't cloak buildings without making them cloak generators so that was out of the question.
But CLOAK is also a veteran/elite ability that can be awarded.
By making the land mines trainable and a veteran/elite ability of only CLOAK, and making the Mine Layer start veteran, the land mines start veteran and start cloaked!
It's all perfect except for the problem that the Mine Layers must start veteran for it to work, but given the amount of time I've spent trying to get this to work, I'm as happy as Tanya in an armory.

Why do the Mine Layers have to start as Veteran?

I know that it's not a big problem, I'm just curious.

At Veteran Level, it gets CLOAKED thx to VeteranAbility...

yeah, but how does that effect the mines?

Martyr, which method are you using? The one were the mine layer deploys into a mine, which gives another mine layer as a free unit, perhaps?

Some cloaking tags only work after veteran abilities. That is for cloacking aicraft and it seems also buildings.

But can you make buildings auto=promote via country
