Default Expert-Level help required!

I'm having the following troubles about editing Red Alert 2. I will be very grateful of anybody who can help me to solve at least one of them and I'll send that guy a copy of my Mod when it is completed, as a sign of my gratitude!

1. How can I make my aircraft to fire 3 successive missiles? It seems that using the "Burst" entry does not works but how Hornets and Ospreys drop multiple bombs? They even don't have a "Burst" entry.
2. How can I make my aircraft to accept waypoints? Red Alert 2 Deezire have done it but I didn't find out how.
3. How can I make my Advanced Dreadnought's rockets to follow a mobilized target and become a guided rocket?
4. Some time ago I saw a guy posted a word about adding Starcraft units to Red Alert 2. Where can I find tools to extract Starcraft units?
5. Where can I find information about .SHP files structure? I am fed up with every shape-editing tool I saw and I want to create my own Shape Editor and a Plug-in, which allows Photoshop, Image-Ready and Paintshop Pro to edit, animated Shape files.
6. I've made the Tanya and Seal to be like Yuri's revenge ones (Single Tanya trainable, capable of Placing C4 on vehicles) but Computer still trains a lot of them in skirmish game and swarms me. What's wrong?
7. I've made the best I could but my Seals die when they put C4 on a Naval shipyard. What is wrong?
8. How can I make a Siege Chopper for original Red Alert 2? I tried twice but when I copied the right entries and shapes my siege chopper does not hovers over and lands like nighthawk. Then deploy cursor appears but it does not deploys at all, no matter how much I click on it.

1. it is on "ROF" entry and how many "Ammo=" it carries.

2. ask the man of the mod, Deezire

3. Drednaught's rockets doesn't employ the "HeatSeeker" projectile stuff w/c is used by the Rocket IFV and the Guardian GI's Missile Launcher.

4. ask smurfbizkit. he imported some Starcraft graphics art to Red Alert 2 format.

5. mmm. .

6. check your RA2 AI.ini . i've noticed a similar thing like in your case. there is an AI taskforce regarding a combination of an Allied Engineer and an IFV (look in the unmodified RA2 AI.ini) . the Computer always likes to fire that taskforce in between tank rushes. it is disabled by default. i enabled it but disabled it for some wacky reason because the AI likes to use it.

7. actually, they use the [Sapper] bomb for naval structures, not the C4. put CellSpread=0 for the weapon. Tanya uses the [Sapper] bomb too.

8. there are two (2) entries for the Siege Chopper. One for the helicopter and one is a structure(?). you must copy the Siege Chopper (unit) entries and Siege Chopper (structure) to Rules.ini for RA2.
i dunno if the Hover stuff logic for the Siege Chopper will work in RA2 like it did in RA2YR..

hope this lights up things. .

6. Check your code. Also check to see if you're infantry count is greater or equal to 103

7. You probably change the C4 Warhead (I believe its Super) so that either the damage or the cell spread is higher, causing the blast from the c4s killing the seals.

8. You cannot put the siege chopper in RA2. THe key tag, DeployToLand= does not exist in RA2.

There's an extensive tutorial somewhere about ading SC units to RA2. The two special tools you need and more than likely don't have are MPQView and Retro GRP. Do a search for these and you might find the tutorial.

I myself discovered the cure for problems 7 and 6. The problem 6 was related to AI.INI and is now fixed. The problems 7 was because of Naval shipyard itself not because of the cellspread of warhead super or any other warhead. Remember that units with C4=yes are TypeImmune to C4.

for your dreadnaught, spawned, killable missles are programmed not to seek their targets, you cant change it... unless you were to hack the exe and screw with the hardcoding
