Default ImmuneToVeins=I hope so

I've read in several places that ImmuneToVeins can be made to work for your own weapon(s).
I have tried implementing this before but I didn't succeed in making my units immune to the new weapon.

Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

I have already stolen the ImmuneToPsionicWeapons immunity flag (leaving YuriPrime susceptible to mindblasts ) for another weapon and I can't steal another immunity flag without causing serious problems.

Veinhole=yes

[IMMUNEUNIT] ; AircraftTypes are always immune
ImmuneToVeins=true

That should be sufficient. I'm guessing you skipped the [CombatDamage] part.

Are you sure that will work?
I was certain I did all that before, including the CombatDamage stuff, and the unit was still harmed by the weapon. Nevertheless, I'll try it again..


Okay, I just tried the following:

[CombatDamage]
VeinholeWarhead=SSA

[SSA]
Veinhole=yes

[E1]
ImmuneToVeins=yes


This means that the GI's deployed weapon (Para) should not affect GIs, but it still does. What gives?

Try adding SSA to [Warheads]. In the original rulesmd, SSA wan't listed in there and it might be necessary, like for IonCannonWarhead and FirestormWarhead...

Eh? SSA is in the warheads list!
I also tried it on [AP] (the Grizzly tank warhead) and it still didn't work.
I've followed the explains on the c-gen thread and still can't get it to work.

Has anyone actually tried this and had it working themselves?
