Default Voxel Resizing

Ok. I have a problem. A really annoying problem. I've just spent 3 hours doing a voxel to replace the Phalanx Tank, and damn does it look good, until you get it into game that is. It turns out to be about the same size as an infantry unit. I then used VXLSE and resized it to double the size, but then it looks huge! Is there any tools around that could maybe resize voxels to 1.5 or something?

ive heard of it, but i dont think it actually works. You should just set the vxl size to the size of another tanks (like the apoc or grizzly). then start from there.

Yes you can take an oversized voxel and scale it down by editing the header. You can also change the 'center' of the voxel this way (to raise & lower it, or make it rotate around a point that is not its center). X, Y and Z scaling can be set individually.

Following up on cannis,

Just multiply the value for the Scale values by the factor you want (i.e. in your case, multiply the scale values by 1.5)

compare vxl in hva editor, on furthest zoom, it should be the same size as the vxl in the vxl editor(1) in the 3d view window(smaller model), so by trial and error, edit the header, i know there're exact measurments and calculations, but i forgot how to, i think blade can tell u

and ive said before, DO NOT edit the scale to make the vxl larger(follow above instructions and see the size of your vxl in the hva editor after editing), it will mess the vxl up

Cheers for the info guys, but all this information just tells me how to make the voxel larger, but not the content too.

The actual voxel that i have drawn, not the space around it. I'm not sure what you mean about the header thing either.

The header sets how far the extents are drawn from the voxel center. This sets the scale (and also can be used to shift the center)

Do you have a copy of my mod?

Ok, i think im kind of getting this slowly. So what would i have to do to make it 1.5 times bigger? Do i just change
X=
Y=
Z=
to 1.5 times bigger to what they originally are?

Oh by the way sorry Cannis i don't have your mod but i used to.
