How about making it 800x600 by default and making it resizable?

@Infraid: How about putting them in this format: ID - Name. If the dropdown is wide enough, you'll have no problem.
About the window size: If it fits @ 800x600, why bother enlarging it? I'll leave the window resizable, it's always been so.
I posted a tricky situation on page 1, anyone wants to comment on it?

Ok.. if the window is resizable, then I don't really care.
As for your problematic situation, I'm sorry but I don't fully understand.... (am I the only one ?)
Anyway, if saying that "saving the last action you've made" makes sense for you, I'd also add : "Add a warning message if such cases happen"
In other words, if it's just a problem of saving priority, make it save the last modified thing.
It's just like opening the same file 2 times, editing and saving on, then saving the other...
It'll be our fault, so just don't care about it..
Oh! and if needed, we still can launch your program on the same file twice... (act it as a viewer)

The situation restated:
Trigger uses TeamType A. You [...] edit teamtype A. Then you decide to edit teamtypes B, C and X. When you close the teamtype editor, the trigger uses teamtype... A or X ? What if A? What if X?
Sh*t, I can't explain it clearly ... Ah, forget it. I'll code this part as I see fit, and change it if/when someone complains :P
Edit: slightly changed main screen:

I have often swept through teams making changes without desiring to change the triggers that own them, likewise I have gone through scripts making changes having no desire to change the teams that own them. So I guess the answer is, the change of a trigger should be limited to the trigger dialog and not based on the team you have selected.
What would be cool is for teams, taskforces and scripts, to have a little 'used by' status thing, so when you have a team selected, you see 'used by: XX triggers'. Once done, at some point have a feature where you can click this, and the things that use the item are listed. The next step could be to be able to click the items on that list and the selected item becomes active in the appropriate dialog...

Sorry for spamming this thread with screenies, but I like to show new stuff :P
Done: modified item saving, special for Renegade - resized teamtype lists, automatic determining of AI version (next, will hide objects if game doesn't support them).
Next: added/cloned/deleted item saving.

What is the AI Version for ?
Can you please rename Medium/Normal to only Medium, and Hard/Brutal to Brutal ? (useless)
Is the "Used by" textfield working ?

AI version is usually automatically determined when you load the rules, the box is there to correct automatic decision, if it screws up. It's used to hide useless items, like if you edit TS AI, you don't need MindControlDecision nor UseTransportOrigin, nor RA2 specific ScriptTypes (StartWeatherStorm, EnterBunker, etc...).
'used by:' is almost working.
