Whoa, the TX is ~11MB. No way am I including that in my mod's download. I'll just refer to the site and encourage players to download the maps. But first I'll have to see if they work well with my mod.

Anyway, please elaborate Kravvitz, if you know.

I really have no clue about terrain editing and pavements and such - all I want to do is to get my pavement working well. How hard can it be? Well, I'm off to do some more testing,

Oh, Ren, you posted just before I could respond to DCoder. I think I know what to do now. I must somehow make the pavement structure use the red pavement tile seen on urban maps.

I must also make the sandy stuff in temperate maps able to have pavements placed on. But I have no idea how to do this. Ren, you said you were too lazy to do this to Total Destruction (hence your title ), but does that mean you don't know how to do it? 'Cuz if you do know how to do it, I'd be over the moon if you told me... like the exaclt coding etc. :P

You don't need to include TX with your mod... the users can download it separately, so that any amount of mods installed on the system can use the same files. You should ask Blade, he's really experienced on terrain editing, among other things.

off topic:

(from Whiteboy) ...how many people in Italy DO NOT have black hair?
There are few people without black hair in Italy. I think 20% of total population about (immigrants included - without 'em subtract a 3-4 percent to 20).

By the way whiteboy, what's your level in Italian?

Thank you p:

Seriously though, I'm a busy guy, what with real life now becoming more prominent. I'd say the ratio of my life from real world things to virtual world things is about 1 to 72.

Ren can view this as an oppurtunity to revise some modding things - and even improve his mod a bit. Plus, the community is in need of more knowledgeable people to teach the newbies who will make more mods who will teach more newbies - it's the modding circle of life, which rotates around the creator - Olaf Van Der Spek. That's a very beautiful picture I think!

Well, the sun's coming up. I must have made about 10 posts today. 'Night.

I don't understand that tag. What exactly does it do? Will it allow structures to be placed on top of it?
I'm not sure what it does exactly, since I haven't tried testing what happens when I change it. It may control which tilesets you can place in FA(2). Also it may control onto which tilesets you can build structures. DJBREIT and Blade might know more.

OK Kravvitz. I'll try to contact Blade, if I can figure out just where he roams. Meanwhile I'll try to do some testing. Are you sure the AllowToPlace tag is in Rulesmd.ini? I searched but didn't find it.

DvD-IT, my level in Italian is approximately nil. I don't know any.

But I do know Caio (hello) and some musical words, like piano, forte, glissando, ostinato, tempo, crescendo etc. etc. But I don't think I could hold a conversation with that

I never said it was in the rules(md).ini. It's in the theater control files, like temperat.ini and snow.ini, which are in ra2(md).mix --> local(md).mix.

Blade hangs out at C-GEN and various other community forums.
