Oh Well then. I could make an entire new tower at groundlevel so that the trooper can charge it........or just kick that idea out.....

Hmm... actually, upon reading DZ's editing guide, it seems that you may be right. Now why have I never seen this working before?

Actually no I'm not being sarcastic. After reading what you wrote several times and consulting DZ's guide, I think it might work. The only way to find out is to test it.

umm... this is purely rules(md).ini coding; it has nothing to do with XCC Mix Editor.

yeah, i know, but what i was pointing out, is i am not a good modder......
im a good map modder, but thats about it, ive been trying to gather info on the keys and codes you can use to edit things, but i have been unable to get a list of them....mainly i took from others and figured out how it worked. and, 2 questions, kravvitz:
what would i need to do to make this so i can test it (in red alert 2 if possible, if not ill do it in yuris),
and how can i back up my Red Alert 2?

I expect that this prism trooper idea would work the same in RA2 and YR.
What Red Alert 2 thing would you like to back up? Maps? Mods? The whole thing?
Edit: Thanks Infraid.
Stupid forum bug, you're a General and I'm only a Captain.

In fact, what you should need to do is make backups of your mod (then you'll see what file you changed/added)
