Or people could just write small tutorials to put up on my site, DCoder's site, or one of the other sites and forums that have tutorial sections.

And newbies have to run over some 10-20 forums/sites until they find the tutorial they want... and most of the sites don't link to each other. The index of tutorials from several places, placed in your/my tutorial section, would be a big help IMHO. Preferably structurized, so we can see what kind of tuts are needed, and add them. But that's a dream... so far. The book was an interesting project, I'd've really liked to see it come to life.

Personnally I'd go for Kravvitz Website (understand me DCoder), because there're also direct links to utilities, and some useful info like the lexicon.
