:cry: pls help me :cry: i'm trying to patch the deezire thing in my red alert to make it red alert deezire but it doest work. whenever i try to run my red alert 2 deezire it says "internal error". i desperately want to play deezire but i don't know how to make it work. thanks very much

sorry but i'm not so sure what kind is it but i've downloaded the version 8 i think and when i'm trying to install it there's a pop up message saying to have the langmd something to be in back up for audio update and i was trying to complete it but it said that there's something that's incompatible with it so i can't have the audio update and still i go on installing it w/o the auto update and i was able to but when i run it, whenever i get to play it, in the middle of the play a pop up is showing up saying internal error cannot continue. i dunno what seems to be the problem. pls help. thanks

well, try unistalling deezire, patching Red alert as high as it goes (if its Red Alert 2, not yuris, its 1.006) then reinstalling Deezire, without any upgrades, try it. if it still happens, i dont know what it was. if not, install whatever upgrades to deezire you want.

*sigh*...if the installer says stuff about "langmd", then obviously he downloaded the Yuri-version of DeeZire. Therefore, the latest version is 1.001.

Plus, if the installer is smart enough to give a readable error, then why not read it so you know what's going on, instead of "there's a pop up message saying to have the langmd something to be in back up for audio update".

yes, i realize that, but i was too lazy to bother finding the top version for yuris, since my yuris has again stopped working properly i was not sure.....anyway, i thought it was 1.002, which it isnt, so i cant say anything about yuris top version.

the latest YR is 1.001.
The YR 1.002 Unofficial Mini-Patch is an bugfix-only mod which you run when not running a different mod, such as DeeZire.

Solution to your problem:
uninstall everything, delete the RA2 folder, restart, reinstall RA2, then patch RA2 to 1.006 using the YR CD, install YR, patch YR to 1.001 (available from marshall.cannis.net), then run DeeZire installer.
If there is still a problem then follow all instructions in the DeeZire help file's troubleshooting section.
