Solution to the 100 unit limit on the VehicleTypes list
What is it? I know it was discovered a while back but I "missed' it. I know vaguely that it has something to do with making the last unit on the list unbuildable. Does this simply mean making its tech level 11?

It still doesn't work like its supposed to as the AI just goes dumber and builds virtually nothing IIRC. It is actually trying to make the last unit on the list but isn't allowed to and so gets stuck.

Thanks Blade.
@Ren: Well I didn't exactly know what to search for, so I decided to be lazy and just make a new thread about it so that people like Blade could help me out. And I don't have time to read through ALL of Deezire's tutorials...
Anyway, let's clarify. To exceed the limit on the vehicletypes list, all I have to do is make the last unit on the list a civilian one (which means its tech level is -1 or 11). That way, the list can be as large as I please. The only drawback is that the AI will be screwed up (i.e. it won't know what units to build). Is this all correct?

No. In the moment you have any buildable unit with a number higher than 100 in your list, the AI will think this is the only unit it can build, and build it again and again and again and again and again and again and again ARGH Abort Mission.
What you have to do is to make sure there are no buildable units after 100, and, on the other hand, max out your list. This is done by moving all unbuildable units, be it civilians, unused things or placeholders, to 101 and following. The concept of this is, that you can have 100 tanks, but since nothing *buildable* is after 100, the AI won't go crazy. And yes, this means that you can have 100 buildable VehicleTypes at highest. (Rumor had it the limit is somewhere at 101/102/103, but 100 is generally accepted as the border.)

My site had a page dedicated to this bug... One more note - according to several people, you can also leave the Secret Lab tech after #100.
(Ren, when is ModEnc coming back? Would be very useful.)

I do have hosting now, so it's just a question of time...
Priorities:
1. STX Layout (almost done)
2. ATW site
3. Renegade Projects (small, should be done fast)
4. ModEnc

Secret Lab tech can actually be built by the AI under certain conditions and so can't be left after 100 (the limit is 100 BTW, but in unmodded YR, you can have units up to 102 since some numbers are missing in the list normally).

Thanks Ren, you explained that perfectly! Perhaps some of this stuff is related to the weird bug that happens in my mod (although I haven't tested it for several months). The bug? Whenever you have over 75 (I think it was 75) units available to build in the vehicles/ships tab, no text appears when the cursor hovers over the cameo. This means the player cannot see the price of that unit. The game field text is unaffected though; the player can still see the unit's name when the mouse hovers over the actual unit.

Who are you and what did you do to the real Whiteboy?
1. You forgot your training and simply opened up a new thread...
2. Now you behave like we've never heard that before, while we actually _named_ that bug after you!
I bet he's from the CIA. Some weird ass American agent has kidnapped Whitey and is taking his place so they can monitor the internet's elite...
What the~~? Since when does dad drive a black van?
