Default Ore generation range

Is it possible to use an ini hack in a map to change how far TIBTRE01 will create ore, instead of just one space? I want it to generate 4 or 5 spaces away.

In your rules(md).ini files you can find such codes:

[Cruentus]
Name=Tiberium Cruentus
Image=2
Value=50
Growth=10000
GrowthPercentage=0
Spread=10000
SpreadPercentage=0
Power=0 ;10
Color=NeonBlue ; **WARNING**: If you change this color, notify Bret_a
Debris=CRYSTAL1,CRYSTAL2,CRYSTAL3,CRYSTAL4
....

you may edit smth. inthis code.

Also find in art(md).ini such codes:

[CRYSTAL1]
Elasticity=0.0
MinZVel=40.0
MaxXYVel=18.0
ExpireAnim=TWLT026
Damage=40
DamageRadius=100
Warhead=TankOGas
IsTiberium=true
LoopStart=0
LoopEnd=14
LoopCount=-1
Rate=500
;DetailLevel=0
RandomRate=220,500
Bouncer=yes
Theater=yes
TiberiumSpreadRadius=0
TiberiumSpawnType=TIB2_01

Then edit TiberiumSpreadRadius tag

Thanks for the help. Is it possible to add art.ini hacks into maps? Ive tried in the past, but it didnt work. Do they have to be in a certain section of the file?

No, I don't think it is possible to change any INI files except for the Rules.ini in a map.

Then, unfortunately, it may be impossible. Here is what I have done to the map regarding the ore.

[Cruentus]
Name=Tiberium Cruentus
Color=NeonBlue
Image=2
Power=0
Value=50
Debris=CRYSTAL1,CRYSTAL2,CRYSTAL3,CRYSTAL4
Growth=10000 ***
Spread=10000 ***
GrowthPercentage=10 ***
SpreadPercentage=10 ***

[Riparius]
Name=Tiberium Riparius
Color=NeonGreen
Image=1
Power=0
Value=25
Growth=10000 ***
Spread=10000 ***
GrowthPercentage=10 ***
SpreadPercentage=10 ***

[TIBTRE01]
AnimationRate=3
AnimationProbability=.1 ***

I have tried GrowthPercentage and SpreadPercentage at 0.1, 1, and 10, with no result.

I changed Growth and Spread to 10000 from 2200 on Riparius, with no effect.

I changed AnimationProbability from .003 to .1, and this makes it produce ore much faster, a desired effect.

Try to add tag
[CRYSTAL1]
rules
....
art

(write both rules and art codes in one place)
But I'm not sure if it works

Won't work. Art code only goes in the art(md).ini files.

So in maps only rules(md).ini tags can be changed? If no what other files can be changed in maps?

Only rules, and not all of it.
