To add new button or image is much more easy then to edit functions which works with sides and their number. So NOONE is in the meaning that noone can edit engine, ai and other functions which work with ini files

1. Maybe it hasn't been asked before... I DONT THINK SO :P
Actually, you're pretty close...it has been asked before, and therefore it's no use typing it all down again. Plus, when I read the thread first, all help was already provided, so there was nothing left to say.

I personally use (and will use again) the tech-tree variant ("Args Method"), though you should be careful with the standard powerplants...AI didn't like it when it couldn't build GAPOWR...o_O

And listen to what martyr, Blade etc. say. They're right. Although do I think I remember we had established renaming a country was indeed possible, as well as reordering. We just agreed that it's pretty useless, since all the user's gonna see is the string anyway – he doesn't care whether "Egypt" is called "Egypt", "YuriCountry", "British" or "DownloadTD" in the rules.

I made the same in my mod: I used Kuba as China, Korea as Israel and Iraq as Iran. I changed only strings in csf files to display names I need

Important for new side logic is to understand the AI importance of Owner=
I prefered Rob's/My method, because it gave you a new conyard instead of Using the aditional COnyard..

Buut do not try ADDING new COUNTRIES
SIDES can be added by REPLACING other COUNTRIES with them. Im writing those words in capitals because of their importancy and the fact you need to see the diference.

There are 9 countris and 3 sides in YR, though technically you can not make a new side you can manipulate a country to be so side specific its completely diferent. Now we dont want to have this country be the only one building this units, so dont use the recuiredhouses, instead use the Owner tag to manipulate the AI
The Owner= tag is made for the AI to know which unit is on which side.. So make sure for a new side the only Owner the buildings have is the countriy you used to replace. This country should also be remoived from the owner list of all buildings of the side it was orrigionally on, because if not the Ai will also build those buildings. Side replacing requitres some research, but an experienced code can easily do it, if he knows the value of Owner=
