Default SW's and base defences

Ok to be able to capture SW's and base defences i know u have to change some code thing from Capturable=no to Capturable=yes. Am i correct. Well do i do this in WCCMixer and if i do what do i go to to do it. I jus got WCCMixer yesterday but i need to know this for my new map im making.

Like I said in the other thread, all you need is knowledge, XCC Mixer, and a text editor.

For just a map you add the building's internal name and the line(s) you want to change to the map. For example.

Capturable=yes

Ok ok. In XCCMixer where do i go like i have note pad, word pad and XCCMixer but i dont know how to edit the codes and stuff. like where do i go to view all the Yuri's Revenge buildings to change the code.

ok ok ok. So first open the map files. 1 problem.....where is that located. i go to note pad then file>open.......then where is it and what is it called. And i want to make the SW's capturable for every map even my created ones.

OK OK OK PPL!!!!!! i downloaded the .ini files from cncgames.com/downloads/yrinis.zip I extracted all to my desktop. Then i opened the files in note pad and went to Phycic Dominator and capturable=false. I deleted false and typed true. then i saved. Then i created a map with a phycic dominator placed in it. i couldnt take over the pyhcic dominator. Why??? Is it because it is a created map??? PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

The ini files have to be in the RA2 game directory, not in your desktop.

Good catch DCoder, I missed that when I read his post.

For changes that you want to affect all maps make the changes in the rules(md).ini.

all buildings default to capturable=false/no rite?

Also why do you want to capture superweapons cos

1) you don't get two "superweapons"
2) the super anim wont work on captured unit
3) unfair and noobish.
