Default Quick question

And it's very specific... can anyone tell me if the [RepairBullet] weapon is absolutely hardcoded to be the only repairing weapon that works? 'Cause I am pretty sure that any attempts to make another repairing weapon (through negative damage or warhead percentages) have failed.

Dumb counter-question: you're not trying to use it as a weapon for any thing other than a vehicle? I'm asking, because I've seen it stated that at least /that/ is hard-coded.

If I remember correctly, warheads are h/coded to be Mechanical or Organic. Also, vehicles only heal vehicles, infantry only heals infantry (unless you use particles).

Use particle systems, as DCoder said. Look out for a tutorial by Psycho, he explains the how-tos. Its up at YrArg and Revora.

I think if you use negative damage and don't use RepairBullet you units will try to attack (and as a result - repair) enemy's ones (especially while guarding). And if you have RepairBullet tag your unit won't try to attack enemy

yes unless you tell the not to acquire targets or retaliate in which case they must force fire to create the effect.
