copy the siege chopper code but don't give it a deploy anim or use turret units.

BalloonHover=yes has another nice property. The AI won't get biffed when trying to move large groups of the unit around. Ever noticed that? That sometimes the AI gets "hung up" when moving air units around (thanks for the bug WW!). Anyway, BalloonHover=yes solves this problem.

It has the minor downside that the rotors on the chopper stop rotating occasionally. Comparing one problem to the other, I can live with it.

the rotors ALWAYS stop when it stops moving which looks stupid.

The siege chopper code overides this.

Otherwise you make a chopper with a turret and give it turretspins=yes

but while using the seige chopper coding it will still want to land ( deploy ) therefor the AI cannot use it effectivly..tried myself and by putting " ; " infront of all the lines metionning " Deploy " the chopper landed had to keep line DeployToLand=yes to keep chopper in air with rotors spining, AI does not like depolyable units besides the GGI...if any suggestions as to how I can edit it so the AI will use it please inform

DeployToLand=yes
JumpJetTurn=yes
BalloonHover=yes

Those are entries you must put, I tested it while ago on my Apache, when Apollo gave me that code. Using this in your aircraft, it won't land and rotor will still spin

Yes, I remarked on that. However, if you've ever attempted to put 16 siege choppers in a single AI team (ouch!), you'll notice that they'll sometimes get "stuck". That's a worse problem.

well i would advise making smaller teams instead

the graphical issue is really distracting and a lot of people will just see it as unprofessional to say to the least.

These small graphical/sound issues will be notice by the public.
