i thikn it would be ok...
i have a beter idea...what if it was a patch for the exe that added extra spureweapon charecteristics

Hacking the exe is hard and it's not recommended. The great difference of an emulated superweapon to a traditional superweapon is that to fire the emulated one, you need to select the buildings that fire it and aim, the traditional one you just select your superweapon at the sidebar and aim. The other great difference is that the traditional charges the weapon before you aim and the emulated charges after due to the limitations of the engine.

That's all, but the emulated can be made unlimmited time, heavily customized, dont affect the other weapons or superweapons, etc...

So, could this work in TibSun as well? And I don't think it's a good idea either. Then it's technically not a SW. It's just some other units weapon.

I know it's not a perfect idea, that it's not as great as a normal superweapon is, yet it's proved that you cannot make new completely superweapons as ppl always wished to, unless we attempt the emulation.

why dont u make that ion cannon fire multiple lasers from above instead of one so it's like a mini nuke.

that could be an allied superweapon since they're all into that high tech stuff.

also for a yuri superweapon it could possibly be some sort of maybe Chaos Cannon or i dunno fires chaos gas to anywhere on the map on anything.

Would someone please close this thread. I haven't seen Banshee's methods yet I've heard it itneresting, but thats different. As DeeZire said this is all odl info I've known this from the days of TS honestly. Please check around to see what been posted a on a subject before you go and create a totally irrevolent thread. Cloning superweapons is old news delete this thread now... although if you found this y yourself without any previous knowledge of it being possible i congradulate its till totally pointless.

Tomo, these kind of discussions lead to a better things and ways of doing things. We're not disscusing the original method! Not everyone knows about this anyways.

How about if you used the same method, except it was a 1 time fire weapon, and in order to make it more like a normal superweapon, you give the building a lower cost but a build time that takes as long as the time it would normally waits to fire.
